Han Zhenjiang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Zhejiang University.
Han obtained an assistant doctorate degree from the former Soviet Dynamics Institute. He has served as professor of the Electric Motor Department of Zhejiang University, and is best known for his leading-edge research of electric systems discipline. Han conducted the research on the action of powerful field regulators towards power system stability and the stable region of power systems in a nonlinear condition. He also put forward new methods of stability control. He presided over the research of computing methods of the power system current, stability and fault analysis. Han developed computation and analysis application software of power systems, which played a key role in improving computing analysis and safe economical operating levels of power systems to China. He presided over the research on the theory and method of power system model setups, and analysis and control of AC and DC power systems, contributing to the stable operation of Zhoushan DC power transmission works. Han advocated and committed to the research of artificial intelligence applying to power systems. He has made significant contributions to the field of fault diagnosis of power systems.
Han Zhenjiang was elected as an academician to the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999.
